External Fixators:

External Fixation System is one of the main fracture fixation procedure in orthopedic trauma surgery. Especially open fractures are primarily treated by external fixaton.

External fixation is the method of controlling and fixing the fragments by connecting them with external metal devices with the help of pins, screws or wires applied externally to the bone from the proximal and distal parts of the fracture, and external fixation.

Fixators are systems obtained by attaching wires or pins passed through the bone to a rigid support outside the broken bone of extremity.rs.

Suture Anchors:

Suture Anchors are main implants for attaching and fixing the soft tissues like ligaments, muscles and tendons to the bone.

They are using while the shoulder and knee arthrosopic or open surgical procedures. Mostly the main 2 shoulder problems  rotator cuff injury and bankart lesion are treated by suture anchors. 

Rotator cuff injury

is simply the rupture of the supraspinatus muscle tendon from the humerus head. Its clinical sign is inability to elevate the hand to head for example tombing the hair. It can be attached to the bone with suture anchors easily.

Bankart lesion

is simply the spiltting of the anterion capsule of the shoulder joint from glenoid of scapula bone. Its clinical sign is recurrent shoulder dislocation. It can be also attached to the bone with suture anchors.
